This Blog was the first major assignment in which I made an analysis of a white paper called "New Ruralism" by Stratton. We related it to key readings from within the class as well as other outside sources. A sci/tech allows for a technical argument in a public audience.
This major work's purpose was to construct an argument on writing in a public sphere for an outside audience. To make a discovery of some sort, mine being in the realm of editing.
Wikipedia Reflection
As a class, we created a Wikipedia article on Multimodality. This shows the work we did as a whole with the following of many steps to make what is a Wikipedia article; this followed by a reflection on my experience writing a Wikipedia article as an individual and as a whole through the teachings of this class.
This is a comparative analysis of Kalman's blog "Can Do" with the "Coming Death Shortage" article by Charles Mann. It also shows how it functions in specified audience, time, occasion and discourse situation. This is to be used to discover more about the concepts of advanced writing and editing.
